Hey

I am looking for a note taking app with a web interface I can login to and that isn't Evernote.

I can't use iCloud in my office on my mac so no sync, and i'm finding the web interface a little too slow.

As a result I started using Bear which is a beautiful and functional app.. however they do not have a web interface and only allow iCloud syncing, this means i've got notes all over the place.

I want to bring them all together again so i'll need something that:

- Isn't Evernote
- Doesn't sync with iCloud
- Has a web interface that I can login to
- As 'Bear' like as possible (so beautiful)
- Bloat free, not complicated, don't need advanced functionality

Thanks :)

I recently switched to MS OneNote and am liking it. I work for a large company that doesn't allow iCloud connectivity within the office, however they do allow MS OneDrive. So I can sync both my work notes and my home notes through OneDrive, and I use the MSOne note apps on both the Mac (home) and PC (Work) as well as on my iDevices. And, perhaps to more directly respond to your query, just for personal preference I do not sync my home notes with my work PC's OneNote app, and instead use OneNote's Web App to view/edit my home notes from my work PC. So long story short, all devices and platforms sync nicely, the app is excellent, and it's free.

One minor caveat...One note has this great feature on the PC called Tags...it's wonderful for todo lists. On the PC and web, you can tag items, but only on the PC can you generate a summarized list of tagged items.

+1 on OneNote. Web app is great and the iOS/Mac apps have come a long ways and are super powerful now. I've swtiched from all my other writing/notetaking apps (Evernote, Penultimate, GoodNotes, etc.) to OneNote now.
