Note Taking Mac App

Hey I need a good note taking app for my mac. The criteria that I have is that it -
- isn't Evernote or Springpad
- syncs with my iPhone
- is FREE
- can export to common file extensions

Have you tried out Notational Velocity? I think that syncs via Simplenote. It's REALLY barebones, but it fits all of your criteria.

Notational Velocity does sync with Simplenote.
I've been using Simplenote for some time, but just downloaded Notational Velocity recently.

Another vote for Notational Velocity with SimpleNote. I love this kind of really basic application. Rather than trying to do everything for you, it just does what it does, but does it really well 😀
