    Hiya,

I was hoping someone could recommend me a place to get a decent case for a MB.

I know they're being sold on the Apple site, but I was wondering whether there were any other options.

    Cheers,

The hard cover case? Or the laptop sleeves?

Still confused as to what you mean by "case".

Sorry Ariez - should have been more specific.

I'm talking about the laptop sleeves. The soft covers which fit the MBs really nice and tightly.

Pinder Thin seems to be a very popular sleeve. I ordered one and it will be shipping on Oct 30th. Can't wait. They have one that is especially for the macbook.

I personally have used two sleeves.
the tucano second skin sleeve and the incase neoprene sleeve...both are great but I kind of like the tucano skin a little better.
the protection of the incase might be slightly better than the tucano though.

I hopefully will receive some sleeves from fabrixcases soon for review purposes...they look very promising and I will publish a personal review once I had the chance to test them out thouroughly.

Thanks for the links guys - and great blog byakuya.

I was really looking for one of those skin tight sleeves as opposed to a bag I suppose. Here's something I saw on the apple site:

Something along those lines would be great - more of a protector, than an actual bag I suppose.

take a look at the zeroshock III by elecom. It fits tight on the MacBook and offers great protection for a sleeve.

I have received a Macbook sleeve product sample from Raedan (a German case manufacturer) and posted some pictures of the macbook sleeve and the ipod nano sleeve I've gotten. you can check out the pictures here.

I'll try to write a review next week in English.

as promised here is my personal review about the raedan bag for the macbook
    (personal review)
I do like the bag a lot actually and think that it is worth the money.

I received the fabrixcases bag and I'm still kind of checking it out/testing it...hopefully I'll be able to post a review soon.
