Notebook computers becoming a fashion item?

I saw an interesting article here. I also see this trend in the industry as we start seeing attractive-looking notebooks from a few manufacturers (Apple has been on this trend before others are catching up).

About the only form of technology that's not a fashion item is the humble DSL modem.

How can an article be written about style and notebooks without mentioning Apple? 😱
