Hello, I'm new to this forums and I have a question, I hope you guys can help me.

Lets say i buy a new Macbook in USA. What if i go on a 6 months vacation in Mexico or i go to study a semester in Europe and my macbook gets broke or something?

Will the warranty apply even if i am not on my country? can i take it to the apple stores there to get it repaired?

thanks in advance

Yes, notebook warranties are worldwide, desktop's are country of purchase.

Are you completely sure?
Any second opinions?

I can't take the risk to buy it and then if it gets broken having to send it back to the U.S. to get it repaired.

thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure that apple will honor notebook warranties even outside of the country of purchase. You may want to call apple to double check before purchasing just so you know for sure.

From the Apple Limited Warranty.
