Can new Notes app attach or embed a PDF file?

If so, can someone post what this looks like?

I am trying to compare this to what I currently use Evernote for.

Thanks!

One more try, bumping this up.

Can anyone check this out on the new Notes app?

I printed this page as a PDF and then added it to a note.

holy crap. That's all I ever wanted evernote for!
If it has tags I'll probably die from excitement.

I love evernote, i but it's way overkill and makes it quite annoying.
Hoping this iPad Pro comes out with a pen. Then I think it'd be fair to say that apple is changing just like microsoft. In good ways.

especially as there are no arbitrary limits on monthly bandwidth, hello iCloud indeed. It's kinda nice paying for one pool of data for a lot of service (match, icloud photo, backups, messages, files).

- If you embed multipage PDF file it only displays the first page of it. You can open the pdf file to see the rest of it.
- Search does pickup text within PDF files but it does in no way highlight the text or say on which page the text is. It just shows you the file that has the search string.
- Search doesn't find text that has been added with annotation tool.
- If you open the PDF (in Preview) you can annotate it, but the original file won't be overwritten. You have to save the modified version somewhere and embed that to the note.
- Annotations are visible also on iOS.

All of this works on both OS X and iOS except: Can't annotate on iOS. You can embed PDF files only on OS X. On iOS you can only create a link to the PDF file instead of embedding it. I don't see a way to create a link to PDF file on OS X.

Also on OS X you have an option to capture a screen region which will be added to current note as image.

E: I have El Capitan beta 1 and iOS 9 beta 2.

Very silly question, but can you add a title to a note?

Like Grocery List

Item
Item

What I mean is that I don't want the first line to be the title, but have a separate title line.
