Hello,

I just tried to access my notes app after a long time, to see something that I wrote there. The app will just crash before it evens loads my notes (I don't have many notes anyway).

I've jailbroken my iPhone and I can't say that I can't live without it.... ok there are some good apps there which I don't need though. What I actually liked a lot about it is SBsettings but if that slows down my phone I prefer speed over it.

How can I un-jailbreak?

I did restart my phone and it states there is 64MB available RAM still it will just crash :(

Notes application Notes app not saving changes

I had a similar issue. I could open the iPhone Notes application, create a new note, but it would not be saved. I could also not edit any previous notes. It would allow the edit, but any changes would be lost.

See problem description here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9797592

It seems the Notes.db/Notes.idx files are corrupt.

I ended up putting the iPhone into Restore mode to get a clean copy of these files. For anyone experiencing a similar issue, I am attaching a clean copy of these files. Hopefully it will save you from having to do a full restore. Put these in /vap/private/mobile/Library/Notes

Warning: this will erase any Notes you may have had. Make a backup of your files before doing this if this is a concern.
