I use the Notes app almost daily to mark down recipes, my own recipe ideas, a list of to-do’s, etc.
On my old phone on another platform, I could mark each note with a category. If saved in tbe cloud, it would keep things just as organized and I could reference them from my laptop.
I cannot see a way to mark each note with a category and if I can, I’d want to do it on a computer due to number of notes. Additionally, I would like to be able to choose a folder, such as “sauces” and be brought to a list of notes that fit that criteria.
After doing a search of the forums, I did not find my answer.
Two topics discussed that did not fit the bill for me included locking and exporting. If I’m using the cloud then I anticipate those notes on my phone to be notes on my Mac.
I don’t need to lock my Notes.
I don’t need them exported to PDF.
