Yesterday i was pretty exited to see that an update for my favorite note taking app - Noteshelf - was available. But this notion went out of the door pretty fast when i looked at the new landscape mode. What a failure.....

In the old version the paper in landscape mode simply was as wide as in portrait mode, with an area to the right being unused. So this wasn't the greatest decision to start with, but the new mode completely ruined the app for me. Now the paper fills the whole screen in landscape mode, but only because it is effectively not turning anymore (as if the orientation lock is engaged).

So if you have an existing notebook (or one you started in portrait mode), and you turn the iPad into landscape, the writing is now runnig from top to bottom of course.....

See the pictures below for clarification:

So you can only use one orientation now at a time, because it won't work in the other anymore....

If the developer reads this: PLEASE fix this!

No offence but I think you should visit the noteshelf website and contact the developer first rather than post this and then add a comment hoping the dev sees it?

Seriously, if you love the app so much why not contact the dev and give him chance to explain or fix any issue before just posting about it.

I'm a portrait user and I love the app btw - please give the guy a chance though :)
