some apps stopped sending notifications after this update, mail being one of them. it send notifications once i open the app, but not until then.

also airpods started randomly disconnecting and audio goes one way for some reason(i can hear, but i can't be heard).

anyone experiencing any of this goodness?..

I have the same issue. Loads of apps, mainly WhatsApp, simply stop sending notifications at random (rich notifications also stop working). I reinstalled 14.6 last sunday and it didn‘t help a bit, issue returns in full force.

and did this happen to you after 14.6, or earlier than that? did you try reinstalling whatsapp?

It happened with 14.6, been happening for a few weeks now.

I went as far as reinstalling the OS and starting over (since most things are stored on iCloud anyways) but the issue came back full force. I legit miss out on loads of discussions on WhatsApp or certain apps just stop sending notifications altogether. The reddit app is a horrible offender too (stops sending notifications).

i've considered reinstalling the OS, but i know that if this doesn't help(and it seems that way), i'll be sooooo angry! my security cam doesn't notify me of movement, kind defeats the purpose :)))

Not sure if it’s since 14.6 but yes notifications are as useless and unreliable as I’ve come to expect and experience with Apple of late

Do you have fetch/push enabled for Mail?
I keep fetch/push off and the stock Mail app never showed new email notifications even before iOS 14.6. That's the only reason I use Gmail and Outlook app for email.. just to get the new email notification. Gmail and Outlook probably load emails on their servers and then send new email notifications whereas, Apple maybe doesn't for privacy reasons and so the stock Mail app needs fetch/push enabled which drains the battery faster, So I use the Gmail and Outlook app.

of course!
for email i usually use edison mail, but it tweaked out on my during an app update, so i had to reinstall it and was using the native mail app during that time...
