Notification sounds reverting back to default tones?

Anyone else experience this? It's very irritating. Mainly with facebook messenger and whatapp and sometimes my own text tone will revert back to the default notification sound. The only way to fix is to restart the phone.

Various posts from different people about this kind of thing. Restart seems to be the fix (at least temporarily), alternatively resetting all settings might be worth a try as well.

Same here. My kakao talk notification chimes the stock notification chime

My Spark email app does this, happens on two iPads and iPhone regardless of the settings in the app.
