    Notifications need to sync.

Missed phone calls should be listed as missed phone calls, not missed FaceTime calls, OS X needs to differentiate between FaceTime video chat calls and Continuity ringing through.

Likewise, if I answer the call on my iPhone, the Mac should update to remove the notification. It isn't a missed call. But if I do miss the call entirely, when I look at my missed calls on my iPhone, remove the notification on my Mac.

Same with Calendar alerts. If I clear a calendar alert on my Phone, the Mac should reflect that alert cleared.

Same goes for Messages. Too often a read iMessage is still badged as new on my Mac.

Continuity needs to be more complete, like Mail pushing and syncing or like Exchange.

Even something as simple as read email. I have no unread mail messages in any of my inboxes but Notification Center still shows emails listed. Why should I have to clear them out of my Notification Center if the email has been read and processed or deleted or whatever in the mail app.

Notification Center needs to update as you process workflow and it needs to update those changes across devices.

    This is a major oversight.

I completely agree, such a basic thing that I don't know why isn't implemented/fixed by now

That is the behaviour I think I have, both phone and Mac ring, if I answer the call on the phone the notification on the Mac clears and it doesn't list it as a missed call, only completely missed calls are listed in the FaceTime Audio list - must admit I haven't checked what happens if Mac is asleep, does call activity will asleep get synced when it awakes like Messages does?

Edit: Just checked and Recents list doesn't match in full so no call history syncing going on it seems, I'm sure that will be in Continuity V2 :)

Totally agree with everything stated above. I have always been annoyed at notifications and syncing across devices with mail, calendar and imessage. I haven't updated to Yosemite yet, I'm waiting for the first patch, but I thought with the touting of continuity, resolving this issue was a given.

Wow, I've thought I'm the only one to complain about this... it's really annoying.
