Notifications despite focus modes enabled

I have a contact that I keep getting notifications from despite focus mode being on. I have focus properly set up with focus status not being shared and notifications not allowed from anyone. This one contact keeps getting through despite settings being correct, regardless of which focus mode I am on with similar settings.

Anyone experiencing anything similar?
