I'm having trouble trying to see notifications on MacOS from my iPhone. The main notifications I want to see are from the Flashscore app and Bet365 app.

In terms of settings I have done this -

on MacOS - System Settings > Notifications > Allow Notifications from iPhone On
Allow Live Activities from iPhone on
Play sounds for notifications from iPhone on.

Mirror iPhone Notifications from Bet365 and Flashscore are turned on.

On iPhone I have allowed notifications from Flashscore and Bet365 and "Show on Mac" is selected.

I'm not sure what else I can check. I have restarted both my phone and laptop and still the notifications don't show. Whatsapp notifications show ok. I am signed into the same Apple account on both my Macbook and iPhone and I only have one Apple account.

Any help is appreciated.

I've had trouble keeping iPhone notifications working reliably. But, some things to try from most likely to help to just guessing. First, try reconnecting like so:
  • Refresh/reregister the phone to the Mac by going on your iPhone to Settings > General > AirPlay & Continuity > iPhone Mirroring and find your MacBook in the list, swipe left, and tap Delete
  • For good measure, restart your phone and your Mac and log in.
  • After you do this, open iPhone Mirroring app on your Mac, you should get a prompt to set up a connection with the phone again.
Still not working? Check to see if any updates are pending in the App Store for these apps, as even this has broken notifications for me. Also be sure your Background App Refresh is on for these apps in iPhone Settings.

If this still doesn't fix it, consider Offloading the apps and then reinstall from the App Store and be sure to open them and say yes to notifications.

You mentioned Live Activities off hand, if this is what you're specifically interested in, are they showing up in your Smart Stack on the Mac?

Thanks for your reply. I have followed your steps and I will wait until the matches later on to see if the notifications are working. I also checked for updates and there is nothing pending. All my apps are up to date.

I'm not particularly interested in Live Activities, but I'm trying to enable as much as possible that is related to notifications 🙂

EDIT: @macaddiict removing my phone for iPhone mirroring and then reinstalling both the Flashscore and Bet365 apps seemed to work. Notifications appear to be working - thanks!
