Notifications in Duo App broken after updating to iOS 16 Public Beta

I updated my iPhone to iOS 16 Public Beta and all of a sudden, I no longer get push notifications to my iPhone nor Apple Watch from Duo, the two factor authentication app my employer uses. Anyone else have this bug and know a fix for it?

Hi, the Duo Mobile app notifications works as normal for me on iOS 16 and watchOS 9 PBs.

I had this with WhatsApp in an earlier beta. No amount of fiddling with in-app or global notification settings would fix it. I ended up having to do a reset all settings and it has been fine since.

Double check your notification settings and consider a reset if all else fails

I added Duo and a few other apps into a Focus setting and it started working again. I cannot figure out which apps are immune to being in a Focus and which ones must be in a Focus.

Glad it got sorted out for you. Yeah, I suspected it was focus mode corruption/bug that broke it for me but, again, no amount of adding or removing apps or focus modes sorted it out for me. Glad you didn't have to do a reset; it was pretty painful!
