notifications lagging when I try to open them on lock screen

this usually happens in the evening but when I tap on a notification on my lock screen it lags and I have to tap it repeatedly for it to register that I want to access it.

anyone else having this issue? (iphone X)

nope just happens when it's on battery

Yeah it doesn't recognise my touch

hasn't happened for a while now though
