iPod touch Notifications not working - no sound

Since about a week ago, my ipod touch 4G stopped giving me push notification sounds, so I would miss all my mentions unless I literally checked myself.

Seems to be in twitter and facebook for me. Sometimes I get notification sounds, sometimes not - mostly not.

Seems to have started after installing IOS6 but not sure. Have checked all the obvious things.

Yeah this is the main reason you would not get the notifications.

I get notifications, just not the sound... weird

Is your sound all the way up?

Just power down and back up. It has solved some weird issues for me in the past.
