Notifications Not Working

Ever since the last update, my text message notification stopped working. I checked everything in setting and made sure my "Do Not Disturb" option was still off. I really need this feature, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

With all due respect, because of past responses like yours, I always Google my problems before signing in here. Unless you're seeing something I'm not post were from 2014. Nothing current. I guess I was hoping a Mac forum would be more help with current, specific problems.
