I'm posting in the ios9 forum because it's possibly an iOS thing, might be iPhone or Apple watch thing though. Ever since getting the Apple watch notifications are kind of done through the watch. I have mirror notifications off, but I'm not getting them on my iPhone or watch. This seems like some apps, maybe not all. I'm mostly concerned with Nest. I'd like the alerts to appear on phone. They appear in Notification Center but not on the lock screen or homescreen even though in settings>notifications they are on. What am I possibly doing wrong? Or if you get an Apple Watch that's how your going to get notifications from now on?

Let me explain the logic behind this setup.

If all the following conditions are met all notifications go to your watch:

- Watch is on your wrist and unlocked (skin contact is established)
- iPhone is locked.

If One of the following conditions are met all notifications go to your phone:

- Watch is not on your wrist
- Watch is on your wrist but locked
- iPhone is unlocked

The "Mirror iPhone" setting merely takes notification settings directly from your phone so you don't have to configure notifications individually on the watch itself.
