Can someone please confirm whether this is correct or not.

When i get a notification for mail etc and the phone screen is off, the notification comes through on the watch.

However for calls, the phone rings, shortly followed by the watch and for text/sms messages, the notification is on the phone first then about 30 - 40 seconds later comes through on the watch.

Is this correct? All notifications are set to mirror the phone.

Yes, this is how it is for me as well. Basically, it seems like when you have the watch on all non-urgent notifications go through the watch only. I guess Apple deem a phone call urgent enough to make both watch and phone ring.

Same behavior for me, except I would say it's a 2 to 3 second difference between the time my iPhone starts ringing and the time I get notification on the watch. Definitely nowhere near 30 seconds.

The delay for calls is only 3 secs but for text / sms is more like 30 secs. When a txt arrives the phone wakes with the notification the watch seems to receive it after the screen goes off.

You need to take into consideration when the screen of your phone goes off it does not mean the phone is locked. There is a slight delay and any notifications that come in after the screen is off and the lock hasn't kicked in yet will route to the phone still and not the watch.
