I'm wondering if anybody knows how well the new notifications work on multiple devices. Like iPhone and iPad.

At the moment if I recieve a hotmail email, it gets pushed to both my iPhone and iPad, and it's annoying having to read it on both to get the badge to disappear. And also with twitter, if I get a mention it's on both devices.

Both iOS 5 sort this problem? So if I read my emal on my iPhone, it will automatically be read on my iPad?

Say someone is iMessaging you and you recieve the message on your iPhone, you don't want to pick up the iPad later and have all the same notifications on the lock screen..

Does anybody know?

I know with iMessage (well on my iPhone and iPad) that when I got a message on my iPad it made the notification sound on my iPhone as well but it wasn't in notification center and I didn't have to check it on both devices. With emails you still have to at least go into the app to update it though.

Really

Really, I thought with mail and things they would make it clever enough to realise a new message has already been read on another device.
