Can someone tell me what is causing the lock screen below. I can see it is obviously a weather notification, but where is it coming from. It appears every morning on the lock screen at 07.00.
I have three weather apps on my iPhone, BBC weather, Met office and Dark Sky, all have notifications disabled in the phone settings.
I do not have the Apple weather app installed on my phone.

Try, Settings-Privacy-Location services-Weather......turn off always to never.

Hope this helps.

So far as I know it is part of the “good morning” routine that produces that screen at your selected wake up time in the clock app... don’t think it has anything to do with a weather app. Mine does it at 8am(my selected wake up time in the apple clock app) and I do not have the Apple weather app.

I have never set up a wake up time in the clock app. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I do not have the weather app installed.

The app will likely re-open automatically at 7am on the next day your alarm is set to go off. Try changing your “bedtime” settings or turning “bedtime” off and see what that does...

Well hopefully it will solve the issue regardless... damn electronics these days.

Do you actually want to turn it off or just asking how does the phone know when to remind you?!
