Notify Me... Were You Notified?

no email as of yet

I signed up for both Apple and AT&T emails with my business and personal email address. Not one email. I really had higher expectations from Apple, AT&T I can understand, but not Apple. I am very disappointed in Steve Jobs. :(
 
I did recieve an email from at&t about 4:00pm pacific time telling me that the iphone 4 was now available for pre order. WOW Really. What timley information.
 
I tried to pre-order a notification, but the demand was so high for even that basic service that they melted.

Seriously, I signed up for a notification last week and have yet to receive anything.

I have signed up for notifications like these from other companies as well and for some reason they never work. What is the point of putting them on there if they have no intention of actually emailing the people?

They are just "harvesting" your e-mail address. You might not hear from them but you will probably hear from all the nice people they sold you to. Phfffft.
 
I ordered mine like 6am on the 15th and got no confirmation but they do show up on the status page with an order number but no date for shipment.

I DID get an email from Apple around noon yesterday telling me the iPhone 4 was available for preorder. LOL!

I was NEVER notified by Apple, and I signed up with THREE different e-mails!
AT&T notified me at 8:34AM and 9:51 AM [signed up with two e-mails].
 
Signed up at both places, only notified by AT&T - which arrived well AFTER I'd already made my in-store reservation. ;)
