I'm sure that just as soon as things go to 'Preparing for Shipment', these forums will light up like a Christmas tree.
Agreed. Go over to the iPhone 7 forums . People are ordering the Plus and it says 4-5 weeks. A few days later it says says shipped.
Hopefully the MacBooks will also ship earlier than projected.

In the US they have to ship no more than 3 days after they charge you.
Looking at the order, it's weird. Ordered on 10/27, with these dates, but the text says 'shipping 2-3 week'. So the dates match the 3rd week. I'm hoping for the earliest 2 week, which would be Nov 10.

My extra 87 watt USB-C power adapter shipped yesterday, arriving today. It was originally slated for Nov 9-14 delivery.
Usually accessories ship fairly close to the actual device shipping. Wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing laptops ship next week.

Has anyone moved on to "Preparing for Shipment" yet? This coming up Thursday will be the 2 week point so I would imagine any day here in the very near future we should start seeing the first orders getting ready to ship.
Someone on the other forum for orders said that a CS rep told them they will most likely begin shipping out on the 10th.
Which falls in line with the estimated dates we all have. If it ships on the 10th and takes the full 7 days to ship, then we get them on the 17th like our original dates suggested, but likely they will take less than 7 days so I'm guessing we should see them a few days before the 17th!

My card was authorized about 7 hrs ago for the full amount. Guessing shipping is happening soon.
My card was authorized today also, usually apple doesn't charge until they ship so hopefully I'm getting the new 13" 512 grey MacBook Pro sooner than expected.

So it was shipped on Monday. Now when I click on follow shipping (Or thats what google translate tells me, I am in Netherlands but dont speak dutch ). It shows me status : Appointment Request
