Why? So if there is a Black Friday sale, can return on Nov 29 and buy one at cheaper price.

Based on my record, the saving is about $60 or so last year!

Buying it for the whole family, the price discount will be substantial in the hundreds of dollars!

Apple needs to come out soon and either announce there will not be a cheaper price on Black Friday or extend the price match to everyone who bought it before Nov 15th when they call or visit store in Nov 29th.

I would not be surprised if plenty of folks do that to tell the truth.

return policy should have been until January for holiday seasons anyway...

and Apple should allow "price adjustment" on Black Friday if you show up in store or call.

Or just don't have a sale at all - it's like punishing early adopters and hardcore supporters.

Doing so they could have prevented senseless returns.

They usually do this around the holiday shopping season. Does anybody know when the extended return window actually starts? Or when it started last year?

At BB for what I remember, it is the last week of November.

What may be worse is the Mini 2 not being available at the same time. This will undoubtedly cause many returns of the Air for folks who like that more. Easily could have been avoided.

It was late October last year, I believe. They may have announced it afterwards, but to the best of my knowledge, it covered the introduction of the new iPads.

I highly, highly doubt the iPad Air will be part of Black Friday. The mini wasn't last year. The iPad 2 and Regular Mini will be go on sale, but not the Air or Retina Mini.

We all paid an extra hundred bucks for our Apple devices for this:mad:

I am doubting they will reduce the new Air this soon anyway.

Bought Ipad 4 32gb last year and it was $60 off. Plus if you use Discover Card get another 5%. It is best to wait for BlackFriday.

I'm definitely going to be keeping a close eye on this. If the holiday return expansion is announced, cool, if not? I'll return on the 15th just in case. It would basically be a cheap upgrade to 64GB for me.

You seem to be assuming that Apple wanted to avoid this potential scenario. :)
