I just got my i5 today. This is my 1st attempt with GeekTool. :D

That screenshot is phenomenal for showing just how much more screen there is, although obviously 27" is bigger than 20".

When I ran your screenshot at full resolution, the amount of scrolling left to right I could do was frightening.

I'm surprised you didn't use ClearType font with that LCD's resolution.

Yeah, i don't know. I just got used to it.
Got headaches after i worked under mac os the first time :). But they've gone after a few days.

But hey, i just changed it. We'll see if it's any improvement for me...

The 27" screen is amazing. The amount of real estate will take some time to get used to. For the past 6 months I have been using a 15" laptop.

My current MBP desktop. Buying a monitor, vertical stand, and 4 gigs of crucial on monday so my desktop will be different by next Friday hehe.

Nice pic. Is that calendar just part of the desktop picture, or is it some kind of app?

The calendar appears to be Dateline, which is a cool, unobtrusive program that displays a linear calendar, and if you click it you can see your iCal events for a given day.

They seem to be updating it frequently to get bugs out and stuff, and at 4.95 I thought it was worthwhile to support what they were doing.

This is correct - Dateline is a pretty cool app.
