Novice help required, iPhone, iTunes etc

I have a iphone 4, my brother has a iMac which for years I've syncd my iPhones with.

I bought a 13" mac book last week. I never hooked my iPhone up to my macbook before.

Now the problem I'm faced with.

I bought a 4s on launch day, I want to start syncing and backing up my 4s to my mac book not my bros iMac. I have loads of photos on my 4 and all my contacts are on that too, I can't loose these! especially the photos!

How do I get my info off my 4 onto the iPhone 4s but then use my macbook instead of using my bros iMac?
