Not sure how you got "won't be available due to high demand until mid-2017" to won't be coming out until Fall of 2017.
Just because you won't be able to walk into a store and buy them without a pre-order before mid-2017 doesn't mean they are launching then. Also, would still be 3+ months before the iPhone 8.

Right... I have LG retractable tones and they're cheaper with bigger battery life.
I couldn't be happier with my 7 ... top drawer in every manner ... and I say that coming from a 6.
