Now getting animation stuttering often when opening X.

Ive had its since friday and its been flawless. Tonight most of the time when I swipe to open I get animation stuttering thats bad at times. Ive tried a full reboot and that didn't help. Not sure whats happening here.

Plugged in to a power source when you see the stutter? Could be a bad brick or cable.

I’m on 11.2 beta, haven’t experienced that whatsoever.

Mine is doing it. I thought I was seeing things. Unlocking it and it stutters loading the home screen

Yup it seems have started today. Sometimes it’s smooth sometimes it’s realy bad

I have it occasionally. I first saw it when I opened Facebook. I wonder what is causing it?

Mine mainly does it when swiping to the home screen.

Seems to only happen if i try and do it fast. If I wait a second until the lock opens then swipe up I don't notice it. Don't recall it doing that before though.

I’m getting sporadic animation slowdown as well. Right before my battery died tonight, my entire UX was running at about 30fps.

I’m sure an iOS update will address this.

This happens on my 8 Plus also, about once a day, and has done since day 1. It goes away if i re-lock, then unlock again. Also, there’s a slight judder to the force touch animations on the home screen.

Same here. Wasn’t doing it with the stock preloaded wallpapers as my lock screen and home screen.

Now doing it since I changed everything. Not all the time, maybe 1 out of 10 times when opening the device.
