Hi,

I did a couple of searches on the forum but it seems what most people get is the other way around.
My problem is that I don't want to see the "now playing" app on top of my watch face if I'm playing music FROM my phone.
The "auto launch audio apps" toggle is off. Why does this keep showing then?

I'm puzzled. I upgraded from an apple watch 2 - in that AW i would instead get the icon on top of my watchface. Why is this not how it works with the AW5??

cheers!

It should work the same way as your older watch. Not sure why it's not respecting the 'auto launch audio apps' setting.
It's working the way you want for me on my S5, so something is screwy with your watch/phone.

Did you already try to switch the option on and off again ?

so I tried the "auto" a number of times - and it didn't work
I assume this is a bug..

Do you mean the tiny icon at the top center of the watchface or the entire screen? If you’re referring to the icon, you wont change that but I’d also ask why you’d want to anyway.
