it will probably work like this

wifi = wifi quality clips
3g = wifi quality clips
and if you're outside of a 3G area you will get edge quality clips

that would be nice, tbh youtube over edge isnt really very usefull, only for music maybe. but theres other sites (seeqpod) which do a better job.

If you have a decent 3G signal, YouTube clips will be just as good as on Wifi.
