That's great. I love the fleeting expression of the lady in light green on the left of the video as the song goes 1,2,3,4! at the beginning.

When I saw the thread title, I thought it would be some really incredible group dancing, to some really high quality music. Something like in the opening scene of the Godfather but maybe more organized and more impressive.

What I saw instead was some of the worst "music" out there, playing behind a series of random and skill-less people bouncing down a church isle-way. Are you kidding me?

You "saw" the music? I want some of what you're smoking.;)

I was dreading clicking on that link thinking it was going to be some "thriller" dance remake or something. Thank God it wasn't.

It looked like they had a lot of fun and kept everyone happy. I would have loved to see what their reception was like once the booze started flowing.:D

If the only venue through which you can insult me is through minute grammar details, then my argument must have been pretty solid.

Hmm. How sweet.

I have to wonder though if the bride was very keen on the idea.

Of all the dancers participants she looked the most uncomfortable. I guess who could blame her… imagine what a nightmare it must have been trying to dance, let alone walk, down the aisle in that dress, hoicked up with one hand while holding a damn bouquet in the other.

Anyway.
Hope they make it…

Edit: Who chose the guys' outfits? Seriously. Ill-fitting, 3-piece nylon suits are just nasty (and probably a tad sweaty in the crotch after all those fancy footsteps).

That's the problem. In America people are all about having a good time, instead of achieving excellence.

What does the last sentence in your post mean?

Honestly this is not the thread or the site for you, clearly. I have seen lack of excellence throughout the entire world. Your attempt to bash America is futile, misguided, and lacking true intelligence. It makes me sad that there are people like you who cannot smile over very simple things, even if it is poor dancing and really poor music.

No one said the dancing was powerful, meaningful, completely professional. No one said the song was soulful or even good (at least I don't think they did). Combined you have two people who had their friends share what is supposed to be a very special day together and have fun while doing it.

That is all.

I have no problem with what happened in the video, or with the fact that it was people having fun. But I think the OP misrepresented the video. Saying "Now THIS is what you call a wedding dance" gave me a totally different idea than what it ended up being. It implied something of higher quality and more artistic value than what most wedding dances consist of.

On behalf of the OP, I sincerely apologize that you felt mislead by the thread title. When you clicked upon the thread you surely anticipated greatness. If you were hoping to be met by grace, agility, artistic ability, soulfulness, and pose then I am truly sorry. The intent of the video and the thread title, implied or otherwise, was to ensue fun among members. To share a joyous moment with strangers who have found a way to ultimately have fun at a time where nerves generally tend to take over. It was not intended to insult, to showcase the talent or lack thereof of any member of society. It was merely done in fun. If a smile was had as a result of the video then it would be my belief that the video served it's purpose.

Again, on behalf of the entire internet, we are sorry.

Snort! :D

Stop it Jessica. Now I have soda coming out my nose. :(

Sorry, but wife beating isn't funny -- even joking about it.

That is assuming that you are referring to this post:

Of course it isn't. But why the hell would they walk down the aisle to a song preformed by Chris Brown. We all still recall his "run in" with Rihanna, right?

Cute video, and it looks like everyone enjoyed it. I wouldn't have wanted it for my wedding, but that's just me.

Edit: Even something as simple as this can be so much more artistic and beautiful, mainly because of the exponentially superior quality of music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5-MBNnLiEg

No no gives a damn about much more "professional" that one is. It was no where near as entertaining as the OP's (in MY opinion). If you don't like it, don't post. It's quite simple. Don't bother other peoples likes and try and force your opinion that this Russian **** is better. It's YOUR opinion. We respect it, just don't try and makes us see through your eyes.

It's not just Russian. It's any country, culture or group of people who strives for excellence and displays artful beauty even when the main point of an event or gathering is just to have fun.

How you do anything is how you do everything. The way those americans danced down that isle in the OPs video, is a reflection of the way they behave at work, with their kids, with their spouses, etc.

Man, you must really be the "life of the party", you better get back to "striving for excellence".

Dude, or can I call you buzz kill? Why you hating on some people having a little fun at a normally boring event?
