I bump this thread because I have the same question and the link the previous poster post is not working. I need to format an external hard drive to NTFS for saving game DVR clips on my Xbox one but I don't have a PC anymore. I read about Tuxera and Paragon, but I hesitate to install this on my mac. Is there a chance these kind of drivers could damage my system? or it is easy to completely uninstall this when I'm done? I have app cleaner & uninstaller so I think it can uninstall it properly but still, I just want to be sure before installing this.

I personally use Paragon NTFS for Mac and I have never had an issue with it.
