Maybe you two have missed one or two things when you first quoted my post.

I've never claimed that the automatic detection works as well as SwiftKey's.
I also didn't say that there is every language available. I only wrote that it is not true that the native iOS keyboard does not have this feature at all. It does.

Yes you did: :p

The native iOS keyboard has the same exact feature since iOS 10.

I just said it's no good, that's all.

Well, that's the reality check. If I'm getting asked if Apple Maps has transit maps I say no, because in my reality no.

Same situation here.

If you're asked if McDonalds has waiters you would say no. Why do you care if there are waiters in Poland or not?

My bad I haven't mention the language. Have a good day, sir!

But Apple should get used to this treatment as it is a global company and they have Polish website (https://www.apple.com/pl/) and they sell in Poland.
So Apple Poland hasn't introduced multi language support in keyboard yet : )

I feel you. I'm from Germany and we're also missing many features Apple has introduced elsewhere. Our markets just aren't that important for a global company, but it's a shame that Apple makes you feel like a second class customer.

Yes you did: :p

Well, it is the exact same feature. I agree that it's a lot worse, but it still exists and it's supposed to do the exact same thing as SwiftKey's multi language support.

Seems to me I need to be pedantic since you still don't understand, if it was exactly the same it would be on par with the other one, guess what, apple is crap compared to the other one so it's not exact.

So can I.

You can download discontinued apps from the purchase history section of the App Store at any time. Just downloaded Swype. Heck, I can still download the iPhone 4 bumper case app.
Might be a little difficult to download if Apple pulled an app or if you want to install an old 32 bit app like the original Angry Birds.

I’ve gotten to the point where I hardly try new apps and services any more. I know this app is older but it’s still making me think about how many smaller startups come up with an interesting idea, grow virally, and sell to a bigger company that doesn’t do much with it for a year or two, realizes it’s not printing money for them and/or drives it into the ground, and then discontinues it. I feel like it’s killing innovation and then sometimes nobody else can pick back up where they left off because the megacorp owns all the patents.

Once i installed Gboard i haven't looked back once. the "glide" keyboard is just too good. especially one handed.
