number of homepages

I have an iPhone 3GS and i somehow have 12 homepages. I thought you can only have 11. What happened?

I'd never know. I have three pages of apps.

Edit: Nope. Mine only allows 11.

It's 12 pages including spotlight.

Still only 11 for me. Someone posted a trick to get more pages without jailbraking. I wonder if you somehow did it unintentionally:

Yeah, I knew about it, but hadn't heard much whether it really works. Besides you have to have all pages full to do it, IIRC.

I've tried a few times myself to get it to work, with no luck. According to the link in that thread, it's ostensibly hit or miss, and he/she wasn't able to detect a pattern.

It's hard to do unintentionally. Do you have all the other pages filled with apps?

i have 10 full pages of apps (and web bookmarks). with about 2 or 3 on the 11th and now i have 1 on the 12th

EDIT- when i first got the 12th page i had all 11 pages full
