I don't know why (it might have been because of a command I accidentally did or something), but as of the last week my MBP (I got it about a month ago) isn't letting me type (easily) the numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8... The only way I can somewhat type them (which is how I got them just now) is to start with numbers 9, and 0 (which are the only ones which work right) and then hit them relatively backwards and in a frenzy... The way it looked to get the above numbers looked like this at the end --> "09999888717654214323"... I have no idea if it has anything to do with num lock (I've never actually known what it does) and am even less sure since my key board doesn't have it labeled... Also a similar thing seems to be happening with my control key.. only I can't ever tell if it working or not for obvious reasons... Thanks...

There is a keystroke that causes this.

Restart your mac and then you should be good.
