Numbers import data inside a table

Since I'm switching to a new app for time tracking that allows export in CSV format
I would like to create a template for my report with numbers and inside the template I would like a table that imports data from CSV
Is it possible?

Yes, that is possible. Numbers can export to CSV. You'll need to find out if your time tracking software requires fields to be in a certain order, and if it requires a field name row as the first row.
