Numbers Mac & IOS pay for both App's

I was looking to download numbers for my mac will i have to pay for this version and the iPad version or if you buy one do you get the other as well ?

You have pay for each platform, so for OSX you pay and if you want it for iOS, you'll have buy it a second time.
