The video card in my mid 2010 Mac Pro died. Is it possible to install a nvida GeForce gtx 760 pci e card ? I am running the latest OS X. If I buy one these and install it out of the box without any other change in software is how I would like to handle the situation. If it will work with additional software will I encounter any other difficulties ? Is there a good read out there anyone knows of ? It seems to be possible to find a replacement for the original card at several eBay locations and is that in fact a better solution ? On paper if the nvida card will work it looks like it might be great. Thanks.
