did anyone see this article? http://news.yahoo.com/s/macworld/20070206/tc_macworld/cider20070206_0 is it just me that thinks this is great news if it pans out? so many people don't go for macs because of the gaming issues, if that could be eliminated, suddenly the MBP's, iMacs and Mac Pros can be gaming platforms! sweet.
Cider still need game developer to do the wrap. to wait a game to be "Cidered" always take at least couple of month if the third party is asked to do the wrap. It would be easier to just use bootcamp. anyway, HoMM V is in the process of Cidering, it will be out soon, Whewwwww BTW, I do like the idea, its generally same as wine and crossover, create a small windows environment for games. it won't support PPC tho.
of course. and for now, it might be easier to go to bootcamp. i guess i see the excitement being soon, it won't be necessary to go into boot camp or use a windows machine to game as often. which is very cool. hopefully in hte near future, they're will be one less reason to need windows around! and hopefully, bringing games to macs will prompt more hardware to run those games...like some really good graphics cards. that MIGHT get included in future imacs (or at least be offered as options for them).
