NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT not for G5

I just bought 3 NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, many places say they ar G5 compatible as long it has PCI express slots.

Well... mine has them and the cards doesn't work. I hve a quad 2.5 but nothing. I can't find drivers or anthing so the reviews around are not accurate. The Apple web site says Mac Pro only in tiny little gray letters but many reviews say the opposite.

Any way, my 2 cents.

The Mac Pro and the G5 are completely different machines on the inside.

You can't swap a Intel Mac Video Card with a PPC Mac Video Card without flashing of some sort, and I haven't seen it done before to be honest with you.

the PowerMac G5 equivalent of the Nvidia 7300GT is the Nvidia 6600.

Both of these allow filling up the low power slots with these cards so you can run 4 or 8 displays.

Remember these cards are just cards to hook up 1 or 2 display, they don't work together.
