NVidia GF GTX 280 outperforms Intel's Core i7 960

Some of you might have seen this already but Intel released a very interesting tests they have done. They wanted to broke this "GPU is 100x faster than CPU" myth and well, they did but I don't think this is very good marketing for them 😛 OpenCL starts looking VERY cool right now 😎

And this is why wwe should start moving over to the gpu technology more. We don't Need to worry about silly core 2 duo technology for our laptops, it should be moved over to gpus.

It's a bit hard though, as gpus still cannot perform everyday CPU tasks, they are for number crunching only.
