Nvidia GF9400GT in Mac Pro 1,1?

Dear All,

First of all please forgive my Mac newbiness here, not that familiar with them at this stage.

I have a Mac Pro 1,1 running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

At the moment the graphics card is a GeForce 7300 GT and I have a GF9400GT I would like to replace it with.

Easy enough to do with a PC but at the moment I am stumped with the Mac, I have placed it in the slots and all was well, however I cannot get the display to work now and I do not know if its: -

a) a driver issue
b) if the card will even work on a mac pro
c) if there is something else i need to do.

Please could some one help. I realise its an older mac version etc but at the moment its all I have.
