Nvidia just released it's second set of Notebook drivers. The first time around the drivers worked with the Macbook Pro but gave a "supported hardware not found" error on normal Macbooks. This time around it works on the unibody Macbook and I'm guessing the updated plasticbook as well.

It even works on Windows 7 and it has fixed the display sleep bug on my external monitor (Dell 2407). With the drivers from Apple the external display stayed blank and could not be recovered without a reboot if it was put on display sleep.

You can download the new drivers at the Nvidia site here:

    sounds great

I'm curious though, do the fans work properly still? When I play TF2 the fans really rev up because of the intense use of the gpu of course. Do the fans still work just as well with these drivers?

Same as always, driver doesn't control your fan(s) unless you have 3rd party tools installed for it.

Ahh ok. Yeah I really had no idea what was responsible for fan control. I've heard of people having all sorts of problems with their fans under windows so I just wanted to make sure.

On a separate note, graphic drivers are responsible for controlling external displays right? Any idea if the new 24" led cinema display plays nicely with these drivers? I'm hoping to get one in the next few months and I don't want to mess anything up, although I suppose I could just reinstall the original bootcamp driver if I ran into problems. Still I'd like to know.
