Later i tested different bios revisions with two different builds of the GTX 1070. I am afraid both of which are equipped with the "not so popular" micron ram chips. So they work fine with the "micron patched" bios versions. I. e. 86.04.50.40.8C for the inno3D iChill X3. But with the earlier versions like 86.04.26.00.49, even beeing made for this card and decleared "compatible" at TechPowerUp, i get no video signal at all. At least not on the cMP with Mac OS. Sadly have Windows not yet installed and also no Win-machine for testing.
So is this, "newer" (micron) cards not working with the older roms, a known issue or am i missing something?
