Nvidia Quadro 4000

Will this work with 5.1. eight core Pro? Maybe stupid question: will it bring considerably higher performance in Premiere and Photoshop compare to standard HD5770? Does it need an additional internal power?

Premiere will take advantage of CUDA. As for Photoshop, I don't think it will.

Nope. PS is OpenGL. So any fast card gives benefits. Would not think the quadro would have any gain in PS. But also should not be any slower either. Premier is the real reason for Quadro needs.

Guys, I think I would not be able to run 3 monitors on the Quadro, or am I mistaken? Also, is it possible, without any difficulties in respect with power, to run both Quadro 4000 and Radeon 5770 alongside?

You should be able to run them together as both use only one power lead.

Quadros are optimized for OpenGL, actually. PS just doesn't need much of any GPU power.
