Agreed that is the original, and full credit to the person who contacted Nvidia and requested help. However, that original file is NOT in the MacRumors post itself, but rather is in a link to Google, which hosted it along with a "virus warning." Many folks with the problem might be put off by that Google warning, and not download. If they downloaded it there, they had to first find that particular MacRumors post, then link to Google, then download. I linked to a direct downloadable file on tonymacx86.com. As stated in post #137, it is taken directly from "your" article + Google, and I have validated it on my two High Sierra computers. One uses a GT1030 and another uses a GTX 1050 TI OC graphics card. It is a perfectly good file which can be downloaded with one "click," and does not require as much navigation through the web. Note that I wrote "easiest" above, not "only."
 
Hi Guys. I really hope you can help. I still have a poorly Mac despite following the steps. It restarts about 12 times before the graphics card kicks in, and sounds like it's having a tough time. Can anyone decipher this. I've not made any new 3D for nearly a year, and I could really use some help here. I'm grateful for the knowledge and the way you reach out on here, believe me. I installed WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg I use Octane in C4D which is crash central at the best of times to further compound the problem. Here's the crash data...

Please help. Anyone? I haven't made anything for nearly a year. How do I get this driver to work properly and start clean? Thanks all. On this mac I have plug ins and materials that work with a volume of work, so I can't abandon it.
