Hello.

It's announcement of availability of nvme driver for osx.

The driver is done by JimJ and avialable exclusively from MacVidCards.com

You can get the driver here - http://www.macvidcards.com/nvme-driver1.html

It's osx driver, not efi driver. You can use nvme as data storage, not boot drive.

On hackint0sh side tho nvme could be used for booting if uefi driver for it present.

Big thanks to JimJ for developing this driver.

Thank you for posting this I am trying to Install Samsung 950 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD in the Pcie port in my mac pro 2010 ruling el capitan 10.11.6

I followed the thread but been having issues installing the NVMe driver specially setting/changing the owner group. any help please with how to write these in the terminal and successfully install the NVMe driver ?

Yeh I know that. I just didn't know how to install the driver. It keeps getting me error. And I couldn't figure how to change the ownership of the file.

Any help on how to install the driver or the steps of how to do it ?
No idea I’m afraid.
