NY Times app not syncing

    Hi,

    anyone having problems with the NY times app?
    Ever since I downloaded the app it doesnt sync. When I start the app the loading sign in the status board appears for a second or so, but the main screen always says that it is loading. However nothing happens, I waited 20 mins once.

    any help would be much appreciated.

    i am having the same problem... it keeps showing the same news and doesnt update:apple::apple:

    has anyone an idea that might solve the problem?

    UPDATE:

    I set my region preference from Germany to English (USA) and now the NY Times app works.

    thanks, that worked for me too, but what else does that affect?

    as far as I can see at the moment this changes date and time format.
    You also get English keyboard layout but you can change this in the settings menu. The iPod Touch supports multiple keyboard layouts so you easily switch the keyboard with the little globe between space and the 123 key.

    It works pretty well and I did not notice any dramatic inconveniences.
