Hi,

In the email sent out with the delivery number, it also stated that a new 02 number had been allocated to the phone.

Hopefully this means the current SIM card can be swapped out, thus keeping your old number?

According to O2, if it’s you already have an O2 sim card that’s 3G, it’s best to put that one in your iPhone.

If it’s not, I guess it would be like transferring the number from another provider – i.e. you have a temporary number until the old number is carried over to the new sim.
